«A pre dreamed paradise»

Val Fex shows its most beautiful side at any time of the year: when the snow crunches under your shoes, the trees are covered in hoarfrost and the mountain stream seeks its way between icy stones; when the stone pines and larches seem to be on fire in autumn; and even more so when the edelweiss stretches its hairy blossom towards the sun. Nowhere else in Switzerland does this rare alpine flower occur in such abundance - it is the emblem of the valley par excellence.
